Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Period: - Clients are entitled to cancel their appointments free of charge if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. 2. Late Cancellation Fee: - A full session fee will be charged for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. 3. Non-Refundable Payments: - Payments made by clients for counselling sessions / therapy package are non-refundable. Once payment is received, it cannot be refunded under any circumstances, except as outlined in point 4. 4. Exemption from Late Cancellation Fees: - In case of illness, natural disasters, family health issues, legal matters, travel restrictions, or accidents, clients may be eligible for an exemption from the late cancellation fee requirement. However, clients are required to provide documentation verifying any emergency events to qualify for exemption from attendance and associated fees. 5. Appointment Confirmation: - Clients are responsible for confirming appointments and ensuring their availability. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior cancellation will result in the full fee being charged. 6. Cancellation Process: - Cancellations must be communicated in writing through official communication channels, either via email (info@lotuspsychotherapymy.com) or WhatsApp (+6011-63720560) provided by Lotus Psychotherapy. The cancellation will be considered effective from the time it is received and acknowledged by Lotus Psychotherapy. 7. Policy Updates: - The appointment cancellation policy is subject to change. Clients will be notified of any updates or modifications to the policy in a timely manner. By scheduling an appointment with Lotus Psychotherapy Centre, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Appointment Cancellation Policy. It is the responsibility of the client to familiarize themselves with this policy and to seek clarification on any points they may find unclear.
